Our Story

Christensen’s Travel Concepts opened in 1984, when Harold Christensen purchased the agency from Citizen’s Savings & Loan.  The agency has thrived under the ownership of Harold and Sue Christensen.

We are always striving to find the perfect vacation based on your needs.  All of our agents have traveled extensively — both domestically and internationally — and have over 80 years of combined experience serving happy travelers.

Sue Christensen

Sue started her travel career in 1988 at Christensens Travel Concepts. She has gained extensive knowledge helping clients and traveling around the world.

From 2002-2012, she also operated Attraction Tours, a tour company offering escorted motorcoach tours.

Sue does all travel – corporate travel, group travel, religious organizations, cruises, tours, airline tickets, honeymoon, family vacations, and everything else in between.

Sue’s favorite destination is New Zealand.

 

Cori Duda

Cori started her travel career in 1990 in the Portland area.  In 1992, she came to Salem to work at highly respected Sather Travel and AAA.  To best serve her clients, Cori moved to Vick Travel which merged with Christensens in January 2016.

Cori books everything — airline tickets, cruises, customized tours, hotels, car rentals and travel insurance.

Cori’s favorite destination is Hawaii.

Deleen Wills

Travel Consultant
Outside Agent

Deleen has over 30 years experience with group travel, both domestic and international.  She’s worked with many local non-profits and alumni associations at colleges and universities.  She is happy to help with individual and group travel.

Deleen also is a published author and her book, Behind Colorful Doors, can be purchased on Amazon.com.  She is working on her next book full of travel journeys and adventures.

Deleen is in love with Iceland.  She is also an expert on Cuba, Europe, Australia/New Zealand, and the Galapagos Islands.
